Mother's Day Weekend

Murray surprised us with a weekend away in Terrigal (about an hour away) for Mothers Day weekend :)

Genna was VERY excited too 'It's DARK outside - look at all the lights - I get to stay in a HOTEL!' Her excitement was contagious !

That afternoon we made our way to the Reptile Park

They had a really good koala viewing area too!

Genna got to have a little feel - exciting!

Then it was time to see the big attraction of the park

Elvis - the biggest crocodile in NSW

His snap made us all jump!

Genna had a blast :)

Later when Dadda was off getting ready for sunset shots, we got ice cream!

Week 31

Week 31

Jingle is getting quite strong - I managed to get a bit of it on video :)

I have made a good dent in washing baby stuff these past few weeks, it just feels crazy that we're that far along! Just little by little. Nice to get all that lovely white stuff out of the cupboards though :) I have bedding, blankets and newborn clothes ready - feels good to get that stuff clean and folded up nicely in the dresser!

Reading a book last night, there was a page with woodpeckers. Genna said 'My Dadda taught me about those birds. They make holes in trees.' I said yes, that's right, your Dadda is very smart. She replied 'Yes he knows EVERYTHING!'

A few days before Mothers Day Genna told me 'Mama I got your a surprise Cinderella card for Mothers Day.' :) So much for the surprise - so sweet though. I'll post our Mothers Day weekend pics soon.
