Getting ready for Sydney

Murray and I have spent a few great days down at his parent's house, along with his sister Helen. We have had a lovely time catching up and we managed to get a LOT done....
We have contents insurance (so now I can wear my wedding ring again HOORAY!)
We have our bank accounts all set up
and - I have a New South Wales drivers license! Funnily enough the only test they made me take was an eye test. Now - must learn how to drive on the other side of the car, on the other side of the road and figure our how to use roundabouts. Hmmmmm I may take a few lessons!

We are driving back to our apartment in Manly (a beach suburb of Sydney - just across the harbor) tomorrow. We cannot WAIT to set up our place!!!

On the list tomorrow - buy a temporary bed to sleep on (which will eventually go into the second room - our nice bed will arrive in about 2 weeks).

And - bring up our boxes of clothes and shoes (YAY!) that we shipped from London nearly 18 months ago - I cannot WAIT - I think it will feel like Christmas all over again:)

We also had a belated Christmas when I arrived on the 28th - which included the famous family Christmas Fruit Cake (they saved the bottom half for my arrival just after Christmas and WOW was it fantastic)!
