On the car ride home from the Dora show, we were talking to Helen while driving (with the phone on speaker & mounted). I said 'Someone is going to fall asleep in about 5 minutes.' Genna popped her thumb out of her mouth and raised her hand and said 'Me!' And she did fall asleep about 2 minutes later - cute.
Genna went with Dadda to Bunnings. He said 'Genna we're going to have so much fun shopping for hardware!' She answered 'Yes Dadda, but what do we NEED?' Ahhhh I have trained her well :)
The other day I explained to Genna on the drive to school that Helen would be picking her up from school at the end of the day. And to be a good listener, and she will have a lot of fun. She said 'Ok Mama, but where are you going without me and Helen?' Ha ha! I told her I was going to a wedding, that got an 'oh ok' :) She's much more excited to play with Helen!
The other morning she hadn't quite finished her breakfast, but we had to go because we were running so late. So I transferred the last bit of her cereal to her special snack cup with handles. She asked me to add cheerios to it too. I got out the box of healthy cheerios from the USA (no sugar!) and she said 'No Mama, I don't want those cheerios. I want the other cheerios. Here is some money (hands me twenty cents) please get me the other cheerios.'

Let Genna be the "Little Shopper" - She knows exactly what she wants to buy! What a smart, wonderful young lady. Love her. GiGi
ReplyDeleteGennaisms reminds me of when we used to quote Oscarisms, but Genna's are much more appropriate.
