Week 38 & 39 (Easter)

Cutie Pie :)
Showing off that his middle teeth are JUST starting to pop through!
Easter! Genna's favorite holiday!! (she LOVES the hunt!)

We did actually let him have a little taste - he spit it straight out :) Too sweet !

I love that these chocolates make a peter rabbit picture!

pre Easter lunch with Clara & Amelia - the girls decorated the cupcakes!

necklace making - fun!!!!

Dyed Easter eggs - harder than it looks when we only have brown eggs to dye!!
Max very happy on his horsey Genna

I like the pink egg the best :)

Waving to me in the kitchen - hello Mama! He just started waving this week :)

Serious :) He's getting quite strong pushing up on his arms

Our to lunch - he's such an easy baby to take out and about - Mexican lucnh with Mama & Genna
VERY proud of her Easter craft!

Genna was thrilled to show my cousin MacKenzie her new trainers (tennis shoes)

Featherdale wildlife park YAY! Genna knows the place so well she was telling us about each thing. She was VERY into the little kangaroos (until one bit her on the finger when she was trying to feed it - oops!)

patting the koala

Max had a feel too
It was a REALLY fun day out!

Most of the kangaroos were full by the time we got there though (around lunch time) must have been a lot of morning visitors - we did find one or two who still wanted a treat though

Happy happy boy at 39 weeks today

Check out those CHEEKS!

He now has 6 teeth (4 on the top, 2 on the bottom). LOVES avocado, pasta, peas, broccoli and rock melon (cantelope). He can wave, sit up unaided and is LOVES his big sister :) They love screeching to each other (which drives Mama crazy!)

  3. Dear Genna and Maxwell,
So fun to see the new photographs of the two of you. Grandpa and I especially liked the pictures of your Easter celebration and your visit to see the kolas and kangaroos. Thanks for updating the growth photos of Maxwell! Hard to believe that he is nine months already. How time flies; seems like just yesterday we were cuddling him as an infant. Looking forward to your visit to Minnesota. Sending our love and kisses. So happy that Kenzie arrived and is having a great time touring the city and seeing the sites in Oz. It is lovely that Genna enjoys her company so much! Thanks for keeping up the blog and detailing life's passages in Australia. It is April 9th and SNOWING in Minnesota. Can you believe that is Spring here? Sending love from the "Land of Frozen" as Genna calls it. Take care and once again thanks for all the commentary and photos. Miss you and we are starting our 60 day countdown until you are here. Love and kisses,
    Grandpa and Grandma
