Genevieve Joni - born at 11:54 on July 5th, 7.3 pounds, 19 inches and a soft tuft of dark hair !

1 Week Til Due Date!!

Today is officially 1 week until Sparky is due - WOW!

Apparently there is a full moon on Saturday..... perhaps this will encourage him to come meet us soon? We shall see...... :)

I'm happy with my ebay purchase last night though (always so exciting to WIN!!!). I got this cute mirror so if I'm driving on my own I can see Sparky in his carseat (case it is rear facing) - cute huh?

Full Term Today!!!!

Today Sparky has been cooking for officially 37 weeks - which is considered 'Full Term'

HOORAY - how exciting - only 21 days now until Sparky's due date:) (A full term baby is 37-42 weeks gestation)

I do hope he cooks for at least a few more weeks - but it's a great milestone to hit.

I'm glad everyone enjoyed the video so much! I'll try and see if I can catch him moving again some time as they are fun to post!

I am SO looking forward to morning walks in Manly with Sparky as well - check out these dolphins Sprout Daily spotted this morning just off shore!!!

35 / 35 !!

Today I officially hit 35 weeks pregnant with only 35 days to go!!!!!!!

Very exciting :)

50 DAYS!!!!

Today is officially 50 days until my due date - WOW.

Sparky has been super active the last day or two - perhaps he likes this cooler weather? Good thing, cause he will be a winter baby. Although winter here is SO mild, they were going on & on this morning on the radio about how today is officially the first cold day of the year..... it is going to be 19c (68f). That's not cold!!!! That's perfectly comfortable:) And I am LOVING this cooler weather - I am sleeping SO SO well! (knock on wood)

The count down is on though - tomorrow is the start of month 8, only 7 weeks to go until my due date. I can hardly believe time has gone by so quickily. It makes it sound even sooner when I say FIFTY DAYS though! Time to finish off the essential baby shopping I think!

The Baby Shower!

Sunday my lovely Mother-in-law Lyn and Sister-in-law Helen threw me a baby shower :)

Gorgeous details were all over the table when we arrived - like these pretty gingerbread cookies

& a rattle

and a bottle (this is the one I took home - SUPER yummy tasting too!!!)

And lots of lovely prizes for the games!

We played 'the price is right' - where we had to put baby items in price order (it was SO hard!)
A fun 'fill in the blank' nursery rhymes game

and one of these bottles was filled with a candy called milk bottles - we had to guess how many it was filled with

The shower was at The Victoria Room in Darlinghurst - such a lovely place!

The food was AMAZING!!!!
Fancy sandwiches (with no crust of course!), fancy desserts and scones with jam & cream

I must say my favorite was the red velvet mini cupcakes - I had 3!
Everything tasted AMAZING!
Also we had a fancy tea menu to choose from - of course I had a chai latte and oh my gosh it was fabulous!! A really fun high tea experience!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh - Sparky has so many gorgeous new things to wear now!

Something about the nappy bin is funny I guess? It'll sure come in handy that's for sure!

Helen also got Murray a gift - this fluffy koala mat for Sparky! SO cute:)

It was SUCH a wonderful afternoon - I can't thank my lovely in-laws and friends enough for spoiling us so much! Sparky says thanks too!! :)

I love this picture of me with Clara & Amelia from last weekend.

Amelia totally knew what she was feeling for & even did get to feel a couple of kicks! Then she started suggesting names for the baby, I nearly fell over when the first name out of her mouth was one of the correct ones!!! Clara just came over to join in - too cute:)

Happy Easter!

We had a LOVELY long weekend catching up with friends, I will get wedding pictures up from Cameron & Nicole's wedding asap! In the meantime, here is a quick photo of Murray & I at our friend's place in Coogee - the Lorikeets on their balcony were SO tame! (granted the honey on bread didn't hurt to get them close for a pic....... :)

Time flies when you're having fun!

Today Sparky officially enters the double digits - 99 days until his/her due date - how exciting!!

Also as of today I have been at this job one full year - wow - time flies!

It was such a beautiful weekend,

so Saturday late afternoon we popped down to North Steyne beach for a swim.

The bump!

I like to think Sparky loves the beach already:) Although the water was a bit chilly, so we just waded while Murray swam (I know you quickly get used to the water temp & then it becomes refreshing, but with all this extra 'stretched' skin I just wasn't open for the initial cold shock!)

Sunday I briefly caught up with Murray & his friend Chris for a zip around the Manly area in Chris's boat. It could NOT have been a nicer weekend - sunny & hot! Gotta love autumn in Sydney:)
